Hollywood stars have flown out to the United Arab Emirates as the influencers made their journey home from Dubai.
Will Smith, Tom Cruise and Rebecca Ferguson were among the stars believed to be in the United Arab Emirates in recent weeks.
It’s believed Tom has joined his Swedish co-star Rebecca in Abu Dhabi to film scenes for the hotly-anticipated Mission Impossible movie which has faced delays amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Mission Impossible director Christopher McQuarrie confirmed he was filming the latest sequence in the UAE.
The film guru dropped hints the star-studded cast were filming in the capital Abu Dhabi with a slew of desert snaps and pictures of the city skyline emerging out of the fog.
Mission Impossible actress Rebecca has also been sharing photographs from location.
The leading lady has reprised her role of former MI6 agent Ilsa Faust from Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation in the latest instalment.
First off she shared a picture of the Abu Dhabi desert with her fans.
Later, the actress showed she was getting some me-time in as she posed at the poolside in her swimming costume.
She wrote: “Sun and then Action! 2 pretty wonderful situations to be in. I’m very grateful and very lucky. Xx.”
Alongside a picture of the desert, she wrote: “Happiness.”
Weeks ago, Mission Impossible Seven’s Senior Assistant Set Decorator Sandro Piccarozzi hinted Abu Dhabi would feature in the latest movie by hashtagging pictures of the location with ” #missionimpossible7 “.
Over in Dubai, Hollywood star Will Smith — who is based in Los Angeles — was spotted at the NAS Sports Complex in recent days.
The actor was seen rubbing shoulders with UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Numagomedov.
They posed for a smiling photograph together which was shared on both the NAS Sports Complex and Khabib Numagomedov’s Instagram pages.
Rumours were swirling Will has been joined in Dubai by his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.
The Mirror has approached Tom Cruise and Will Smith’s representatives for further comment.
It comes as bars and pubs will close in Dubai for February after a coronavirus spike.
United Arab Emirates, which has attracted a whole galaxy of British influencers and stars, was added to the UK’s travel ban list.
A spokesman for the Dubai Media Office blamed “a marked increase in the number of violations of precautionary measures” for the shutdown.
The spokesman said: “The measures seek to further enhance efforts to combat Covid-19, and protect the health and safety of all citizens, residents and visitors.”
