Maura Higgins has suggested a Love Island wedding could be on the near immediate horizon – although it won’t be her own.
The 30-year-old reality star found love with fellow contestant Chris Taylor – although the pair didn’t embark on a romance until a year after they had been in the villa.
But both were stars of the ITV2 reality romance show in the same season as runner up couple Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague.
The 22-year-old boxer and the 21-year-old Instagram star are still going strong over a year and a half since they lost out on the Love Island crown against winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea – who split soon after winning the show.
Maura reckons Tommy and Molly–Mae will soon be walking up the aisle together – and suggests a Love Island wedding is imminent.
She told The Sun on Sunday: “Tommy and Molly will 100 per cent get married.”
The Irish beauty also predicts her best friend and Tommy will have a huge family together.
She said: “They’ll have 100 babies, without a doubt.”
Speaking of marriage and babies, Maura opened up about the prospect herself just last week after realising 30-year-old Chris is ‘the one’.
She said: “We’re very much in love and we use the L-word a lot.
“I look into the future and see myself with a family.
“I don’t want a baby any time soon, but when I’m ready and settled.
“I want to be married before I have a baby, so Chris better hurry up and give me that engagement ring, because I’m not getting any younger.”
