Akshay Kumar is currently shooting in Jaisalmer for his upcoming film Bachchan Pandey. While the film is still far from being completed, it seems that it has already faced its first roadblock.
A report in a leading daily has revealed that a local resident has filed a complaint against makers and cast of the film for violating COVID-19 norms and for misrepresentation. The report reveals that Aditya Sharma, a resident of Bhaskar Mohalla in Jaisalmer, has filed a complaint through advocate Kanwaraj Singh Rathore to the Chief Judicial Magistrate. In the complaint, Aditya has claimed that a crowd of 200 is seen on the film’s set when the guidelines only permit 100 people. Aditya also claimed that the city of Jaisalmer is being passed off as a town in Uttar Pradesh for the film which can harm the tourism of Jaisalmer as people would assume the town to be in Uttar Pradesh.
The complaint has been filed against actors Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon and Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.
