In 2013 Abhishek Kapoor’s sweet film Kai Po Che had hit the screens. With this film Rajkummar Rao came to the forefront and people sat back and took notice of him, while the late Sushant Singh Rajput made his hit debut on the big screen. Today as the film marks 8 years since release, Rajkummar Rao has something special to say.
Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram story and shared a poster of the film. With the poster he also penned down his thoughts on this special occasion, as he said, “A film that allowed the actor in me to grow, to be more empathetic, celebrating 8 years of Kai Po Che. As if it was yesterday when Sushant, Amit and I were shooting for the film. You are being missed my dearest @sushantsinghrajput.” He further tags everyone from the film and makes sure that he marks the special day. Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkummar Rao worked in this film together and in 2018 they worked together again in Raabta, where Rajkummar Rao had a cameo and played the role of an aged man.
Rajkummar Rao is currently shooting for Badhaai Do alongside Bhumi Pednekar which is part of the Badhaai Ho series. He also will be seen with Kriti Sanon in a film produced by Dinesh Vijan and narrates the story of a couple who adopt parents and how it brings a change in their life. The actor has his platter full with several exciting films and we can’t wait for this boy to shine on the big screen and leave us amazed.
