Fatima Sana Shaikh has been on a roll ever since the release of her last two films, Ludo and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari on OTT. The two films received a lot of praise, especially Ludo where Fatima played the role of a naive young woman who gets married off into a loveless marriage and has a lover who would move the earth for her, played by Rajkummar Rao. She also worked with Manoj Bajpayee and Diljit Dosanjh for the first time in Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari and was stoked to be in their company on sets.
Talking about her experience, Fatima told us that it was learning as well as a fun time to work with Anurag Basu on Ludo. She spoke of how Rajkummar and she would improvise and Basu would include the shot in the final cut as well. As for Manoj Bajpayee, she said she was a fangirl on sets, constantly asking him questions about his other films and trying to connect with him during the shoot.
