Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that the 2021 Fortuner facelift and the new Legender variant have garnered a total of 5,000 bookings since the launch. The updated version of the SUV was introduced in early January and received a number of revisions right from the new styling to a handful of features, bringing it on par with the competition. The Toyota Fortuner facelift is priced between ₹ 29.98 and ₹ 37.43 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Deliveries too have begun for the new Fortuner facelift pan India.

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift gets a new.face with redesigned LED headlights, new LED daytime running lights, a larger grille, revised front bumper and new 18-inch alloy wheels. Revisions at the back include new LED taillights. Inside, the changes are far more extensive and include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also gets connected car technology. Other features include an updated instrument console, 8-way power adjustable front seats with ventilation, front parking sensors and an 11-speaker JBL sound system. The 2021 Fortuner is offered with petrol and diesel engines with manual and automatic transmission options.

The Toyota Fortuner continues to be a market leader with a 53 per cent segment share. The automaker is anticipating that the new Legender variant will add to the SUV’s overall volumes. First launched in 2009, Toyota has sold over 1.70 lakh units of the SUV in the country till date.
