One woman has faced a slew of criticism after she revealed her list of future baby names.
The woman – who is not yet pregnant – explained that she loves travelling and hopes to be a pilot one day.
But people were left divided over the names after they were shared in a post on Reddit.
She explained: “I want to be a pilot and want to pass my love of aviation to my kids too when I’m a mother.”
But her suggestions didn’t go well down – with many people urging the woman to change her mind.
The list of possible boys names included Boeing Joseph, Vulcan Wright, Aero Spitfire, Sully Victor and Captain Oscar.
Meanwhile, potential girls names included Concordia Skye, Echo November, Delta Amelia, Sierra Cloud and Pilot Juliette.
A lot of people weren’t impressed by the unusual suggestions.
One person joked: “Some people really need to just get a damn cat and name that instead.”
Another commented: “Imagine naming your child after an airline.”
A third said: “You could always pass your love of aviation onto your kids by …. traveling with them? …. flying with them?
“Instead of giving them any of these names, they are HEINOUS.”
Another replied: “I don’t absolutely hate aero and sully, and obviously Sierra is quite normal, but CAPTAIN OSCAR??
“Sounds like a 5 year old playing pirates with his friends lmao.”
One woman commented: “Some of these aren’t that bad – Sully Victor and Sierra Cloud wouldn’t strike me as odd at all, and Delta Amelia isn’t awful either, although IMO it’s kind of weird to name your kid after a company.
“Aero Spitfire might be one of the worst baby names I’ve ever heard.
“It reminds me of that celebrity that named their kid Pilot Inspektor.”
And one Redditor bluntly replied: “I really, really hope that this is either a troll or some poor, deluded fourteen year old who thinks she knows it all.
“Some of these names are outright criminal!”
