Today marks the 72nd year since the Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950. India celebrates this day with undying zeal and patriotism as the three wings of the defence of the country put up the most astounding parade in the capital city, New Delhi. The President of India also honours people with awards like the Padma Vibhushan, the Padma Bhushan and the Padma Shri during the celebration.
Posting about their enthusiasm today, stars took to social media to wish their fans and post pictures of themselves with the Tricolour. Amitabh Bachchan, Tiger Shroff, Shilpa Shetty. Tusshar Kapoor and many other celebrities posted lovely messages commemorating the day on social media.
Taapsee Pannu alps tweeted, “On 72nd Republic Day here’s wishing and hoping that we all read and understand our constitution as much as we celebrate it. Will help us be more patriotic than what we actually are.”
