Following the end of Genshin Impact‘s Dragonspine event, a new feature is live until January 21. Titled “Lost Riches,” the event offers three different seelie pets to choose from–blue (Dayflower), pink (Rose), and yellow (Curcuma). Players can only obtain one and must have reached Adventure Rank 20 to do so.
The seelies can be purchased by using iron coins in the event shop. Talking to Ulman in the Stone Gate Area will give you a treasure book, which you can check for the general regions of hidden iron coins, and he will give you a treasure-seeking seelie that will act like a detector. The seelie will glow more intensely the closer you are to the treasure, and a special light will activate when players reach the treasure.
Digging up all the coins in an area will unlock special clues for other regions and players can travel there to get rewards, including the coveted primogens. Ulman will add two new treasure locations everyday, up to a total of 14.
As for character banners, Mihoyo recently released a teaser for Ganyu, the five-star cyro bow-wielder for the next character banner. She will replace Albedo, a geo user and the titular character in Dragonspine who will be leaving on January 11. Ganyu is a secretary for the Liuye Qixing and is half-qilin, half-human. It is currently unknown who the featured four-star characters on her banner will be.
For the next major update, players can expect to get Genshin Impact’s 1.3 update sometime in February. Leaks have also suggested that players should expect Xiao, an anemo polearm user, and Hu Tao, a pyro polearm character, soon. (They may not necessarily be part of the 1.3 update.) Rosaria, the gothic nun we met during Dragonspine’s quests, is also speculated to be a playable character in the future.
