Chris Hemsworth appeared to be an easy target for jokes as his nearest and dearest gathered together to celebrate Christmas Day.
The 37-year-old actor was joined by wife Elsa Pataky, 44, as they hosted a family bash in Australia on Friday.
With those gathered in high spirits it seemed celebrations involved mocking Hollywood star Chris – as family members took to social media to make jokes at the actor’s expense.
Loving wife – and mother of his three children – Elsa led the pack as she shared a photo of her husband standing beside the family Christmas tree while flexing his incredible muscles.
Playfully taking note of Chris’s famous role as a Marvel superhero, Elsa captioned the photo: “Santa brought me a Thor action figure for Christmas.”
Her comment provoked a flood of amused comments from followers – with many posting strings of crying-with-laughter emojis in reply.
At Christmas lunch, Chris’s younger brother Liam Hemsworth also took aim at the star as he mocked the Thor actor’s ability to hold a conversation.
Sharing a selfie on Instagram, 30-year-old Liam write: “Merry Christmas everyone! Lots of love.
“Enjoy your time with family and friends. Great conversation with @chrishemsworth.”
His photo, however, showed Chris turned away from him.
On Christmas Eve, Chris took to Instagram himself to make a gushing statement of love to his wife as they marked 10 years of romance.
Sharing a string of photos of them together, he wrote: “10 years together! Looking forward to the advancements of modern medicine and science and enjoying a couple hundred more!” alongside kissing emojis and red hearts.
Chris and Elsa began dating in early 2010 before tying-the-knot during the Christmas period that year.
They have three children together – an eight-year-old daughter named India and twin sons Tristan and Sasha, aged six.
