After the end of the Ramayana, the audience welcomes Sri Krishna of Ramanand Sagar
Ramayana's world-breaking record prompted broadcaster Prasar Bharati to bring Ramanand Sagar's production Shree Krishna back on the tiny screen to take care of its TRP. The legendary show was first telecast within the nineties and have become quite popular.
After the top of the Ramayana, the audience welcomed Shri
Krishna with an equivalent enthusiasm. Many of them took to Twitter to share
their reaction and praised the show for beautifully showcasing the story of
Shri Krishna.
A viewer told that the story of Shri Krishna wasn't shown
properly within the Mahabharata, but the show Sri Krishna did justice thereto .

Shri Krishna was originally aired from 1993 to 1996 on
Doordarshan's Metro Channel (DD-2). The show consists of 221 episodes, covering
many important events of Lord Krishna's life, during which Lord Krishna lifted
the Govardhan hill on his pinkie and danced on the top of Kalia Nag.
The character of Lord Krishna was played by three actors
during their era on the tiny screen. Ashu Kumar played the role of young
Krishna, Swapnil Joshi began a ship to play Krishna in his teens.
The character of adult Krishna was essayed by Sarvadman Banerjee.
The three actors were highly revered by the people during
the day and were treated as if they were real Lord Krishna. aside from them,
the show also features talented actors like Pinky Parikh, Reshma Modi, Sheeba
Chadha, and Deepak Deulkar within the show.
