Amid the continued lockdown thanks to an epidemic of coronavirus, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma tweeted that he tested positive for the deadly virus. His tweet caused panic and tension in his followers on social media.

Sharing the update on his Twitter, RGV wrote, "My the doctor told me that I tested positive with Corona."

Soon after this tweet, the director of 'Satya' posted another tweet during which he mentioned that it had been just an April Fool's joke. "Sorry for sorry, but now he tells me that an April Fool described it as his fault and not mine".
