Italian tenor Andrea Boccali performed a solo Easter concert
from an empty Milan cathedral for many people round the world during a
coronavirus lockdown.

on YouTube from Milan's Duomo Cathedral, has thus far been viewed over 22

star Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian, and even 'Wolverine' star Hugh Jackman.
When Kim and Jennifer shared the singer's video on their
Instagram Stories, Hugh posted a photograph of the singer and posted a note of
thanks, stating, "From rock bottom of our hearts, you bought an incredible

Moving on from the powerful performance, the celebs took to
their social media handles to share the singer's video and spread hope and joy
over the Easter weekend.
According to one biographer, Bocelli sang four songs inside
the magnificent Gothic building and ended with the singing of a tremendous
Grace, with images showing the empty streets of Paris, London and NY from the
cathedral steps.
"Thanks to the music, streamed live, bringing together
many clasped hands everywhere within the world, we'll embrace the pulsating
heart of this wounded earth," he said.
Churches in Italy remain closed and even prayers offered by
Pope Francis on Easter Sunday are streamed live.
